Leprous listening order

Progressive Metal

Let me make one think very clear. I love prog. Progressive metal and rock are my favorite genres.

Yet somehow I've gone all these years without really having an interest in Leprous.

This isn't founded on anything. I love modern progressive bands like Haken, which I've heard being mentioned in the same vein as Leprous many times. But it's simply been a band I've just not listened to.

Well, that changes from now on. I love getting to know big names and their entire discography, and I have a feeling Leprous is going to be right up my alley.

As always, the listening order was chosen by my partner. She had one look at the covers and decided it was enough to judge them.

Aphelion

"Wtf am I supposed to say to this"

Pitfalls

"I need answers for why there's an indian statue and a boy playing a recorder. If they're not in the songs, this cover moves down to the worst"

Melodies Of Atonement

"It looks like a microscope view of a disease. Is this why they're called Leprous?"

Tall Poppy Syndrome

"Looks like leprosy."

Coal

"Those aren't coals, they're diamonds!"

Bilateral

"I don't know what it's saying, but it's definitely saying something."

The Congregation

"I don't think that's how you congregate."

Malina

"I don't know what to say about it, I just like it!"
